1 Tbs Goji berries
1 Tbs Dried blue berries
2-3 Tbs Almond flakes
1 Tbs Raw Pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
1 Tsp Unhulled Sesame seeds
1 Tsp Fresh ground flaxseeds
2 Tbs Shredded coconut
2 Tbs Organic rolled oats
1-2 Cups Raw goat’s milk, Almond milk or a good quality organic Yogurt
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, you could garnish the top with fresh berries or sprinkle with some Organic cocoa powder like green & blacks.
when selecting dried fruits read the package make sure they are free of sulphites, research has linked sulphites with a reduction in thiamine (B1) levels, which can adversely affect the nervous system.
choose nuts and seeds that are raw (Un-roasted, Un-salted), if you want your nuts or seeds toasted do it before you consume them. that way you are not eating rancid fat that has been sitting on your supermarket shelf for god knows how long.
